We are a small riding stable in Richmond, Texas. We provide quality instruction for people of all ages in classical horsemanship. Lessons focus on total horsemanship, including horse psychology, horse behavior, safety on the ground and in the saddle, and basic horse care management. We specialize in starting young horses under saddle and in correcting dangerous behavior problems in horses already under saddle. Our focus is on the total horse / owner relationship. We work with the owners to help them become more capable horse-people. Our students are encouraged and provided many non-MDE opportunities such as local horse shows, trail rides, clinics and lessons with other trainers. Because we are a small facility we are able to offer individual attention and tailored learning so each student can develop their horsemanship skills at their own pace. We offer a limited number of stalls to boarders and take on a limited number of horses for training. To read more about our boarding click here. Learning to "ride" a horse is vastly different than learning to be a passenger on a horse. From the first lesson we focus on teaching feel and control. We believe that individual lessons are the only true manner to achieve results. We know that every rider and every horse are different, because of this - and safety - we do not give cookie-cutter or group lessons. We have safe, school-master horses for both English and Western lessons. |

Our facilities include 2 lighted arenas, access to miles of wooded trails, and a large open field with cross country jumps and trail obstacles.
